QUESTIONS & ANSWERS
Was the building constructed in an environmentally friendly manner?
Yes, the building was constructed based on the latest environmental standards. We even went a step further: We put solar panels on the roof, a combined heat and power unit on the ground floor and a heat recycling system in each apartment. This means you can live your life with a minimal CO₂ footprint.
When was the building made?
We began planning the building back in 2015. The groundbreaking ceremony was held in late 2016 and construction is scheduled for completion in late 2017.
Where is the building and what is the area like?
The 66 MONKEYS building is located on Deulstrasse, a quiet side street in Oberschöneweide in the district of Treptow-Köpenick, which lies in the south-east part of Berlin. The area is very popular among students, trainees, daily commuters and young people because of its convenient location. Numerous supermarkets, restaurants and bars, the city center, various parks and multiple university campuses are only a short distance away.

The ROOF apartments are available in different sizes, feature a balcony and are located on the top floor of both buildings.

How do I pay the rent?
The rent and maintenance costs will be debited from your bank account each month via direct debit authorization.
What is included in the flat rate?
Your rental price includes just about everything: water, water heating, space heating, electricity, internet, cable television, building superintendent, trash disposal, etc. Unfortunately the mandatory public broadcasting license fee is not included since it varies from person to person and we are not allowed to pay it for you.
The broadcasting license fee?
The broadcasting license fee is generally required for every household. There are however some exceptions such as those who receive student loans (BAföG).
